Cyber Humanum Est is an immersive cyberwarfare exercise designed specifically for students enrolled in programmes at the University of Lorraine. Organised by the Defense Base of Nancy and Lorraine INP, under the umbrella of the Cyberdefence Command (COMCYBER) of the French Ministry of Armed Forces and the University of Lorraine, this event immerses participants in the current challenges of cybersecurity.
Each year, more than 100 students from the Ecole des Mines de Nancy, Telecom Nancy, Polytech Nancy, the FST (Master’s in SIRAV), UFR SHS (Master’s in VSOC), UFR MIM (Master’s degree in computer science – SIS) and IUT Nancy-Brabois (Bachelor of Technology in Networks and Telecommunications, IUT Nancy-Brabois) take on complex challenges combining vulnerability exploitation, cyber defence, offensive cyber warfare and information warfare.
The exercise concludes with a recruitment forum exclusively reserved for partners, followed by an awards ceremony honouring the best teams and highlighting the excellence of the participants.
